IMPORTANT NOTICE!!

The Robot Foamer Webcam will shut down before the end of July because I am losing access to its current location at 300 Brickstone Square. I wish to relocate the webcam to a new location overlooking the railroad, preferably someplace along the line between Haverhill, Mass. and Andover. Brickstone Square is *highly* preferred because of its view of the Lawrence Running Track.

If you have a view of the railroad and are willing to allow me to move the webcam to your location, please let me know. I'm not looking for funds; the webcam is profitable. However, it has to be removed from its office soon.

Locations particularly suitable for a RR webcam include:
- Brickstone Square, Andover
- Dundee Park, Andover
- Area of Railroad Street and Essex Street, Andover
- Merrimack Street, Lawrence
- Downtown Haverhill
- Southern NH
If you have leads into any of the above locations, please contact me. Thanks.

Requirements:
1. Indoor location with window view of the railroad.
2. 120V AC electric power
3. Internet access
- Wired ethernet preferred, but wi-fi is OK.
- Speed not critical, slow is OK.
4. Occasional physical access to the system for upgrades/repairs.

The system is physically a headless desktop PC (no monitor/keyboard/mouse) running Linux with an attached USB webcam. The webcam system does not host the website. It simply uploads new pics to my webserver via secure SSH connection.

The system is powered on 24/7 and uses about $10 of electricity per month. I will reimburse you for the electricity usage.

At night the camera and window must be shielded from indoor light and reflections, otherwise all the camera sees is a reflection of everything going on *inside* the room (not desirable). At its current location the camera is enclosed by a small light-blocking black enclosure that is taped to the window around the camera.

If you are willing to allow me to set up at your location, please contact me at as{AT}shawsheen{DOT}com. Thanks!
